La Amistad Foundation charity tournament in Winter Park on July 18

On July 18 (Saturday), La Amistad Foundation will host its second annual hold'em poker tournament to benefit the residents of Lakewood Center, a long-term residential treatment center for individuals with chronic mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depression and autism.

Numerous prizes, drawings and auction items plus a BBQ dinner will be offered as well. A beginners class is free of charge. The event will be at the Elks Lodge in Winter Park. Single tickets are $50.
