Earn your WSOP seat with Ebro's World Series Wednesdays

Ebro Greyhound Park's poker room has announced World Series Wednesdays.

Every Wednesday until June 3, 2009, Ebro will host a $30 rebuy no-limit hold'em event. Signup begins at 6 p.m. and the tournament starts at 7. Rebuys are $20 and are unlimited for the first three blind rounds, which are 15 minutes each. You begin with 1,500 chips and a $20 add-on at the end of the third level is allowed. Half of all rebuys and add-ons will go toward the purchase of 2009 WSOP seats. One $12,500 package is guaranteed, though many more seats are possible. The total number of seats purchased will then be awarded based on the following point system:
1st place in each tournament receives 10 points; 2nd = 9 points, 3rd = 8; 4th =7; 5th = 6; 6th = 5; 7th = 4; 8th = 3; 9th = 2 and 10th gets one point.

When the promotion ends June 3 the points will be tallied from all of the tournaments and the seats will be given to the winners.

Also, Ebro will be giving away $100 high hands on its live cash tables every 15 minutes on Wednesdays from 8 p.m. till close. The poker room will be dark Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
