$55K bad beat hits at Hollywood Charles Town in W.V.

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Race’s poker room saw a Christmas Eve bad-beat jackpot hit as nine players shared a $55,885.

In a $3-$6 limit hold’em game, James O’Conner, from Alexandria,
Va., was dealt quad sixes but was beat to take home his portion of $27,942.

The bad beat was the first to be paid at the regional gaming
destination, as the casino instituted the BBJ just two weeks ago.
