Abraham Araya atop Ante Up Player of the Year race

Abraham Araya of Carrollton, Texas, is the first leader in the 2012 Ante Up Player of the Year race.

Araya won the $1,600 main event of the World Series of Poker Circuit event at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Okla., and $270,380.

Araya earned 1314.78 points for the victory in the 978-player field.
