I don't understand, why did someone think I was ticked off? This happens a lot. I read comments from people and they are about me but I have nothing to do with it.

As for my original post I think I can stay happy with $2 an hour. It's a hobby that pays me; how awesome is that?

Chris:
<<I don't understand, why did someone think I was ticked off? This happens a lot. I read comments from people and they are about me but I have nothing to do with it.>>

Chris, earlier:
<<At one point I was down about $40 and Mike turned to me and said "Chris, you can't win every time out you know." Well, that's true, but it also ticked me off.>>

I thought this forum was in English. I guess it's in some coded language where the words I think I know have some other meaning.

Ha! I didn't realize it was you Mike. I just glanced over and thought it was someone else who had posted it! So your mission was to tick me off to the point that I turned my game around and rallied for a profit? Nice job! You've really got the game of poker licked! Do whatever you can to make your opponents win!!! ;)

Don't think of it in terms of $ per hour . Think of it as BB per hour. If your home game is 1 "unit" / 2 "unit" blinds then you are making 1BB per hour. At a home game where you don't play a lot of hand per hour and you are playing with people that you have been playing with for years then that isn't a bad outcome.

Also the fact of bearing down and fighting through a loosing night is half of fun.
