The World Series of Poker Circuit returned for the second time to the Horseshoe at Bossier City, La., and Jeff Gilbralter, a former pro golfer of Rockwell, Texas, won the main event for $133K and a seat in the WSOP national championship in May in New Orleans.

Caufman Talley shipped his second WSOPC ring of the season after taking down the $1K event, and he finished 18th in the main event.
Other local players that made deep runs in the main event were Danny Doucet of Opelousas and James Arruebarena of Metairie.

SEVEN CLANS: In Kinder, Coushatta Resort and Casino held its semiannual Seven Clans Cup tournament and Mohamed Kasswran took down the $1K main event for $34K in a three-way chop with Joseph Dulaney and John Honeycutt ($30K each). Gene Dudek of Houma finished fifth for $15K.

Also, Coushatta’s bad-beat jackpot was at a record $445K at press time. For more information, visit coushattacasinoresort.com.
